Visioning I November 9

The first stage of four sessions exploring our ideas, feelings and visions for the future of our church.

Pot luck dinner followed by a brainstorming session on visioning

1.)naming the what we like about our church.

2.) What things we don’t like about our church, or another way of asking what would we change about the way we do things in our church?

Thoughts for Kids

Hey, boys and girls!  Welcome to our website!

Even though you might be busy with school, I hope you still get a chance to play outside!  Whenever my children go outside, there is one thing we have to watch for… sand burs. Sometimes we call them “pickers.”  I grew up calling them “stickers.”  Whatever you call them, “ouch!” they can hurt.

I’ve decided they can stick around like a bad attitude!  Have you ever felt grumpy?  Have you ever noticed that if we share our grumpiness, we might just make someone else’s day worse?  We can say things that hurt, and unfortunately, “stick around” for awhile.

Here is a Bible verse that might help in those moments.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Against such things, there is no law.”

Galations 5:22-23

Psalm 147

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.”

Maybe you can memorize it!  It will help very much.

Take care, and come back to visit!
